Implementing Agency: MB Foundation
Founded in 1999 by M.B. and Harini Sadashiv and formally registered in 2001, M.B. Foundation runs Sandeep Special School in Sullia, Karnataka. It is the only Special School and Day Care Centre within a 50 km radius for children with diverse disabilities, supported by special educators and trained vocational therapists. The school serves children with Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, intellectual disabilities, and other special needs.
Pharmed Foundation has supported the initiative enabling the founders to upgrade rehabilitation facilities with modern physiotherapy equipment to enhance mobility and therapy outcomes, and to create a visual, interactive learning environment tailored to varied learning impairments.
