Airway and swallowing disorders in children can seriously affect their ability to breathe, eat, and grow. In India, many cases go undiagnosed or are treated late due to limited awareness and access. Early intervention is vital—not just to save lives, but to ensure children can lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
The Pharmed Foundation works alongside some of India’s most respected healthcare institutions and experts to strengthen critical areas of patient care. One such collaboration is with Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru, and the renowned Dr. E.V. Raman, who leads the Children’s Airway & Swallowing Centre (CASC)—a first-of-its-kind centre in India and Southeast Asia dedicated to treating children with complex airway and swallowing disorders. The foundation is committed to building a healthier future through collaborative, inclusive, and impact-driven healthcare initiatives. With a focus on equitable access and innovative care models, the foundation supports CASC’s efforts to reach more children and families through awareness, education, and improved infrastructure. This partnership reflects the mission to make quality healthcare accessible for every child.
